At Claire Sower, we believe in making women feel good and spreading joy and happiness. This goes beyond fashion. As a brand, we believe that by empowering women in marginalized circumstances through positive change within their own communities, we can spread that joy a little farther.

Empowering Women

Empowerment is a term we hear a lot these days, but it means different things to different people. For millions of women living in poverty in war and conflict affected areas of the world, empowerment comes from the basics; a safe place to live, enough food and clean water, and a means with which to earn an income.

As a brand, Claire Sower is proud to support Women for Women International. For 30 years, this amazing organization has been helping women who have survived war and conflict to rebuild their lives and transform their communities.

Through their program Stronger Women, Stronger Nations, WfWI provides informational training, skill building, resource provision, and network connections that help

“women break the isolation of war, conflict, and gender discrimination to realize their own power. As they form connections in class, women learn to save, build businesses, understand their rights, improve their health, and change societal rules. They pass this knowledge on to their families and communities — creating a ripple effect for generations.” WfWI
