Changing the Future

The need for environmental stewardship has never been more important than it is right now. Thankfully, there are global networks of people willing and able to do that work.

Years ago, I volunteered as a scuba diver to work on a conservation project on the Belizian Barrier Reef, and I witnessed first hand the positive effects of "people power" not only in helping the environment but also on the people involved.

Setting an Example

Today, the challenges are large and the stakes are high. However, through organizations like 1% for the Planet, we can make a difference.

1% for the Planet is a global movement inspiring businesses to support environmental solutions through annual membership and everyday actions.

Paying it Foward

Currently there are over 5200 business members that support more than 6700 approved environmental partners by donating the equivalent of 1% of sales through a combination of monetary, in-kind and approved promotional expenses.

At Claire Sower Fashion, we have chosen to join those businesses and work with 1% for the Planet by donating 1% from every sale to support the work they do on our behalf.
