My Studio Featured in The Province

18 Jul My Studio Featured in The Province

I am so happy to share this with you – had a wonderful visit with Miria Hood – art consultant, blogger and founder of Women, Art and Wine – earlier this month.

She featured my studio in her blog and am really looking forward to hosting her group in my studio in the near future.  In the meantime – she took this great little Instagram video   – I’ve never seen myself paint before – interesting !!

If you would like to book a private studio visit – please email me at sowerbuttc@gmail.com Or – if you’d like to be part of a www.womenartwine.com. visit – contact Miria through her website

Claire Sower ~ Studio Visit

“Claire Sower is an expressionist painter and artist based in Vancouver. Her vibrant landscape and floral paintings hang in collections in Canada, the USA and Europe.

Inspired by her artist father, Claire began painting professionally in 2009 and had her first solo exhibition in 2013. In 2014 her work appeared on the cover of a national Japanese/Canadian arts and culture magazine and 2015 saw her first exhibit in New York. This spring, she has received commissions from Burt’s Bees and Wiley Press USA.

*Miria jb Hood brings women to gallery openings, artist’s studios and private gallery tours creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm toward viewing art, while offering information to assist in confidence when discussing and purchasing art. Come away with ownership of one’s views, and possibly a piece of art, through candid discussions over wine and small plates at local vino venues to encourage confident opinions on what one sees in a gallery. If you would like to participate in any of this month’s “must see gallery” tours, please feel free to contact Miria at www.womenartwine.com.
